End of Summer
Summer is my favorite season, and always seems to go by too fast; this summer was no exception. This summer was the first summer that we had 3 birthday parties to organize, as we had my husband’s oldest daughter living with us until the end of July, and our youngest just turned a year old.
Aside from birthdays, I also helped plan a very close friend’s bridal shower and bachelorette party, helped with wedding setup, and acted as her personal assistant as well as second shooter. Busy busy! It was so worth it though; she’s practically a sister to me, and I loved every minute of it! Plus, my 3 year old was her flower girl, and also provided some entertainment during the reception when she stole the mic and started singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star for everyone.
As we move into the cooler temperatures and I need to start wearing hoodies and coats more often (and worry about matching socks again), I hope to keep up on my photography-for-fun, documenting my children’s lives, as well as playing around with my old film camera (with the new lens I found at Odds & Ends Again). I’m also hoping to publish some stock photos! I have a few that I feel would be perfect for stock, but I might be a tad biased, we’ll see. Stay tuned for blog posts about film photography, or whatever else is going on in my life!
What are your plans for autumn/winter?
