Beautiful fall day, and we needed some photos for holiday cards, so we found a nice spot at a nearby park to take some photos.
We braved the January cold for a wintery maternity session at Rice Creek Regional Trail.
Another year of online school and no official school photos, so we went to a nearby park for some of our own. Just one more year and she’ll be a senior, how has time flown by so quickly??
Always an adventure taking this family’s pictures — we explored a bit on Brighton Beach (Lester River Bridge) this time, and I freely admit I almost fell in the water a couple times. Those rocks can be tricky, at least while wearing flip-flops!
This beautiful baby girl didn’t want to sleep much for her session, but that just means we got to see those gorgeous blue eyes more Who could complain about that?
This expecting mama was absolutely radiant for her maternity session. Baby Clara is so loved already.
Welcome to the world, Everly! This little girl was so calm, and loved being held by mommy and daddy (I mean, what baby doesn’t?). Bryson’s already such a good big brother, he was so gentle and sweet with her, and my heart melted so much during this session <3
When it’s too cold to bring the kids outside, we improvise. Beautiful family photos in the comfort of their living room!
My bonus daughter is taking a photography class this year, and her most recent project involved making stock images. So we set up a fun Halloween shoot with candy and some fall decor I had lying around, and got some fun ‘stock images’ out of it!
I can’t believe I almost have a five year old! Sometimes it feels like she’s growing too quickly; sometimes time can’t move fast enough (hello tantrums). Either way, I love watching her grow.
To commemorate her upcoming milestone birthday, I brought her to Silverwood Park to take pictures by the giant metal ‘5’ sculpture. It was a beautiful day, and we had a lot of fun walking around the park. 10/10, highly recommend.
My coworkers and I went on a fishing excursion for team-building, but I’m not big on fishing so I brought my camera instead.
I brought my camera with me to visit my friend and her kids on this rainy Memorial Day, and experimented with window reflections.
This weekend, the girls and I met my friend Kim and her family at a park in Ham Lake for some impromptu Easter pictures, and to let our girls run around and play together. They had a blast, and while we weren’t able to get posed pictures with the Easter setup I brought, the girls […]
A couple months ago, I came upon a Minolta camera bundle that included a 50mm f/1.4 lens. Now, I hadn’t touched my film camera in years, but the temptation was too great, so I gave in and bought it (yes, just for that lens). Bought new batteries for my camera, swapped in the ‘new’ lens, […]
Summer is my favorite season, and always seems to go by too fast; this summer was no exception. This summer was the first summer that we had 3 birthday parties to organize, as we had my husband’s oldest daughter living with us until the end of July, and our youngest just turned a year old. […]
Yesterday was my friend Jackie’s bridal shower, and I was a co-host, so of course I decided to take my camera along to get a few photos. Nothing crazy; I was there to celebrate, after all. But here are a few snaps of the spread, in case you’re curious. My mom painted the mason jars, […]
